I don’t think playing was a terrible decision, but I still ended up losing bad. I’m also up for the year (playing with house money) and have been shooting to hit Onyx status as soon as possible. Well, there was also a leaderboard for which I expected to win $750 - $1,000. Neither seems worth it to clear a $2,000 bonus. The expected loss on $90,000 of slots is $3,150. Even worse, each dollar of blackjack only counts $0.20 toward the playthrough requirement, which means I would need to play $450,000 to clear the bonus. None of that could be withdrawn until I play 15 x $6,000 = $90,000.
What that means is I could deposit up to $4,000, and my account would show $6,000.
The offer I had last week was a 50% bonus up to $2,000 and required a 15x playthrough on both the bonus amount and the deposit amount.
As with all deposit bonus offers, the devil is in the fine print.
